The crown jewel of Edify. This Formidable Behemoth 4 story house, just near Push and Pour Coffee house. Over 6 months of work, and every “Covid” material delay you can think of, 3 suites, 1 elevator, 4 large decks, a massive 9 window wall facing the river, all within a Frankenstein like metal/ wood framing skeleton with some one of kind custom metal brackets. Easily the most difficult job we have ever done, add 200lb window installation and Tyvek, nothing comes close.

Framing with air conditioning? Back in Eagle, extending our floor system in our shop, several closets and pot shelves were built with a large partitioning wall in between the RV bay and new living quarters.

Framing again, this 2 story, nearly 4,500 sq. of living space custom home, 6 Bedrooms, 4 baths, incorporates an open daylit basement, theater room, office, 2 family rooms with porches, huge RV bay built for large excavation equipment, 3 car garage with snowmobile stowaways, 2 large porches, and may storage locations. “Custom”, is the word that comes to mind, especially inquiring about the portal framing on the RV Garage opening wall, which required 2 large steel plates on the backside the upper corners of the wall, STS screws, and many revisions and inspections.

Bagging our first General Contracting job as Edify. This 2 story RV shop and garage consisted of a corner girder vaulted mono truss system with four dormers extending from the center, a single glulam baring point, a large pergola on top, 19-foot walls, and a mezzanine for storage space. From the bottom up, simple to not so simple……

This large footprint, one story, 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 5200 sq. foot custom house in Horseshoe Bend Idaho was a challenge for us. With a total of 9000 sq. feet of roof space, involving both 8/12 & 12/12 pitches, building the walls was half the battle. House includes 3 Car garage, a large vaulted ceiling great room, 2 covered Patios, fireplace, study, pass thru door at the pantry, and a theater room.

Once again working with “By His Hands LLC” this 5400 sq foot, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath right above the famous Warm Springs Ave in Boise. This includes A separate garage with attic space and own half bath, bunkhouse suite with loft accessible with ladder, 2 fireplaces, upstairs master sectional, and not to mention the view!

A joint venture with “By His Hands Construction” on this massive 2 story, 5 Bedroom 4 Bath, 5,236 sq. foot custom home in Middleton, makes this the largest home Edify has tackled to date. House includes large back porch, wagon wheel front porch, 2 large bonus rooms, two 3 car garages, fireplace great room downstairs, and large family room upstairs.

Working with our friends “By His Hands Construction” this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the westside of Nampa, is the first project of the new decade. House include 2 car garage, RV garage, fireplace, high ceiling office, and large patio area. Good way to start 2020 with our favorite, “wood framing.”

Following a different framer, this 3,295 sq. foot total mountain cabin in beautiful Garden Valley was a fun project for us. Edify focused on ‘work at height’ mainly flying trusses, roof sheathing, underlayment, and setting up the porch. Customer tackled sub facia, Tyvek, windows, and finishing porch. Amazing cabin, in an even more incredible location.
WOOD FRAMEING - WARD RD - CAMBRIDGE
Much bigger inside than it looks on the outside, this 2400sq home under the shadow of Cuddy mountain has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, an office, a bonus room, and both front and back porches. 8 and 12 pitch attic trusses encompass the upstairs and 2 dormers. The official first job as “Edify Construction LLC.” We would have it any other way than to start with framing.
